Between Us Sisters

Wednesday, October 267:00—8:30 PMLarge Meeting RoomCary Memorial Library1874 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington, MA, 02420

"Little Women" is a classic coming-of-age story set in Civil War-era Concord, Massachusetts. The real life inspirations for the characters: Jo, Amy, Meg, and Beth were the Alcotts: Louisa, Anna, May, and Lizzie. Join us for a living history performance about Louisa and May Alcott with Concord Playwrights and Actors Amy Cole and Stefanie Cloutier. The program begins with an intimate conversation between two storied sisters featuring period costumes and original photographs. Based on primary sources including letters, journal entries, and books, Cole and Cloutier uncovered innermost details between these beloved Little Women. A Q&A will follow.
