Breaking Boundaries through YA Literature is a part of our Cary Teens Lead the Way program designed to showcase and encourage the talents and interests of Lexington's teens. Breaking Boundaries through YA Literature is a monthly teen-led book club open to 9-12th graders from Lexington and the surrounding areas. The mission of the group is to utilize YA books to spark conversations exploring themes of social justice, inclusion and equality, and to enhance connections from communities in and around Lexington. Registration is now open and is required for participation in this virtual book club. Registrants will be sent a link to attend the meeting. The book selection for this month is Howard Zinn's A People's History of the United States , (through chapter 7).
