Food boards are super trendy these days. They are an elegant, yet low-key, way to present food for a wide range of occasions. Are you ready to be inspired?

Join Elle Simone Scott, celebrity chef, food stylist, and executive editor at America’s Test Kitchen, as she shares tips from her new book "Boards: Stylish Spreads for Casual Gatherings." She'll walk you through the basics and advise you on how to choose a board type (charcuterie, crudités, DIY), and use household items such as muffin tins and cake stands for displays to “take things from simple to special.” Elle will give you an informal set of board “rules” that emphasize the importance of having a unifying theme and a focal point, and balancing store-bought items with easy homemade dips. She'll demonstrate how to create an eye-catching board and answer your questions!

We'll also have a chance to chat with Elle and learn more about her inspirations as a chef, her passion for food which led her to America's Test Kitchen, and her non-profit work with She-Chef.
