In partnership with the Cary Library Foundation, the Lexington STEAM Youth Team is hosting an event where YOU have the chance to design a website for the Cary Library Renovation Project (ChiRP)! This event is beginner friendly, as we welcome all students, even those who have zero experience designing websites. On the morning of the event, we will provide free tutorials and mentoring by experienced members of our team. Then, students will have the opportunity to put their skills to the test in designing an innovative and user-friendly web design for the ChiRP project. After students have finished their web design, their design will be judged on several criteria. When the judges have finished, many students will receive awards such as certificates and gift cards!

The event will take place on March 18th, from 10 AM to 4 PM in the large meeting room at Cary Memorial Library . Food and refreshments will be provided. This event is a great opportunity for students to learn new skills, meet other students with similar interests, and contribute to a meaningful community project.
