Kids Cooking Green presents Broccoli Mac & Cheese for grades K - 2

Join our friends from Kids Cooking Green and learn how to make this twist on a traditional favorite dish!
We'll provide all the ingredients necessary, you'll need to provide the following supplies from your kitchen:
- Big pot
- slotted spoon or tongs (to remove broccoli from pot but keep the hot water)
- Strainer (to drain pasta)
- Small pot or a micro-proof bowl to warm the milk.
- Whisk
- Long handled wooden spoon to stir
- Grater, if needed for cheese
- Bowl to eat, fork to eat!
An adult caregiver must be present to supervise. Ingredient supply packages will be available for pick up from Kids Cooking Green on Thursday, February 17th between 8 am and 5 pm, or by other arrangement with Kids Cooking Green prior to Thursday February 17th. Any kits not picked up by 5 pm on Thursday will forfeit their space in the class.
Registration required. Registration begins at 7 pm on Monday February 7th. In order to allow the most kids to participate, please only register once for your family to receive 1 supply kit and have all chefs in your household cook together. A few days after registration, you'll receive an email with detailed instructions on how to pick up your ingredient supply kit.
If your child becomes unable to attend this program, please notify the library as soon as possible. Repeated 'no-shows' without notification may prohibit your child from registering for future programs
