Kids Cooking Green Presents: Chips & Dip! for grades K - 2

Come learn how to make a yummy snack! Avocado Guacamole with homemade toasted pita chips
We will provide all the ingredients you need, you must supply the following items from your kitchen:
- Cutting board
- knife
- Medium mixing bowl
- handheld potato masher
- clean scissors
- dinner spoon (to scoop flesh from avacado skin)
- Zester if you have one (optional)
- pastry brush (or clean fingers) to brush oil on pita chips
- sheet pan (to cook pita)
- Small bowl and plate to serve dip & chips on
An adult caregiver must be present to supervise. Ingredient supply packages will be available for pick up from Kids Cooking Green on Thursday, February 3rd between 8 am and 5 pm, or by other arrangement with Kids Cooking Green prior to Thursday February 3rd. Any kits not picked up by 5 pm on Thursday will forfeit their space in the class.
Registration required. Registration begins at 7 pm on Monday January 24th. In order to allow the most kids to participate, please only register once for your family to receive 1 supply kit and have all chefs in your household cook together. A few days after registration, you'll receive an email with detailed instructions on how to pick up your ingredient supply kit.
If your child becomes unable to attend this program, please notify the library as soon as possible. Repeated 'no-shows' without notification may prohibit your child from registering for future programs
