Kids Cooking Green presents Chocolate Pudding Cake for grades 3 - 5
Friday, February 113:30—4:30 PMVirtual
Join our friends from Kids Cooking Green and learn how to make this tasty treat that is cake on the outside and chocolate pudding on the inside.
We'll provide all the ingredients necessary to bake, you'll need to provide the following supplies from your kitchen:
- small bowl to hold 3 eggs
- a whisk
- Medium size Heat proof bowl & medium sauce pot to melt chocolate. Thee bowl must fit inside the Medium Sauce pot, but the bowl must not touch the bottom of this pot. We are making what is called a Double boiler. The heat from water in the pot will steam the bottom of the bowl and melt the chocolate.
- Cutting board
- knife
- medium bowl
- long handled spoon to stir
An adult caregiver must be present to supervise. Ingredient supply packages will be available for pick up from Kids Cooking Green on Thursday, February 10th between 8 am and 5 pm, or by other arrangement with Kids Cooking Green prior to Thursday February 10th. Any kits not picked up by 5 pm on Thursday will forfeit their space in the class.
Registration required. Registration begins at 7 pm on Monday January 31st. In order to allow the most kids to participate, please only register once for your family to receive 1 supply kit and have all chefs in your household cook together. A few days after registration, you'll receive an email with detailed instructions on how to pick up your ingredient supply kit.
If your child becomes unable to attend this program, please notify the library as soon as possible. Repeated 'no-shows' without notification may prohibit your child from registering for future programs
