Kids Cooking Green presents: Pear and Squash Soup for Grades K - 2

Come join our friends from Kids Cooking Green and learn how to make this yummy winter soup that uses season fruits and veggies!
We'll provide all the ingredients you need to cook, you'll need to provide the following supplies from your kitchen:
- Soup pot
- Cutting board and knife
- Long handled wooden spoon to stir
- Blender (optional)
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Soup bowl and spoon for us to sample!
An adult caregiver must be present to supervise. Ingredient supply packages will be available for pick up from Kids Cooking Green on Thursday, January 13th between 8 am and 5 pm, or by other arrangement with Kids Cooking Green prior to Thursday January 13th. Any kits not picked up by 5 pm on Thursday will forfeit their space in the class.
Registration required. Registration begins at 7 pm on Monday January 3rd. In order to allow the most kids to participate, please only register once for your family to receive 1 supply kit and have all chefs in your household cook together. A few days after registration, you'll receive an email with detailed instructions on how to pick up your ingredient supply kit.
If your child becomes unable to attend this program, please notify the library as soon as possible. Repeated 'no-shows' without notification may prohibit your child from registering for future programs
