Meet Three Indie Authors (gr 6+)
Wednesday, March 207:00—8:30 PMVirtual
Indie authors Alicia Restucci and Emily Wang will join indie author, moderator, and Lexington teen, Lucy Gould, for a virtual panel discussion exploring the process of writing and self-publishing. Registration is required to participate. This program is open to tweens, teens and adults.
Alicia M. Restucci is a newly self-published author of the Stellara trilogy. A native to the Boston area of Massachusetts, Alicia is no stranger to the east coast. After working at Walt Disney World, she recently returned to her passion of writing and story telling.
Emily Wang is an author and illustrator from Shanghai, China. Her picture book "Mr. Penguin" was inspired by her little brother's stuffed penguin and aims to help children cope with anxiety amidst climate change. Emily is currently working on another picture book based on a Pakistani nature poem, with the goal of promoting sustainability and environmental awareness in young readers.
Lucy Gould is a teen author from Massachusetts. She has been reading and writing for as long as she can remember and can’t imagine her life without literature. She can usually be found cuddling with her cat, Lily, in an effort to avoid her current project or reading obsessively (also in an effort to avoid her current project). She is the author of the Tales of Neverland series, book one (The Rescue) now available.
Registration for this event has now closed.
