Join Jason "Panman" Roseman for a delightful concert featuring steel drums, also known as steelpan. Jason will perform a variety of musical styles, including bossa nova, pop, reggae, jazz, and calypso.  Originating from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, where steelpan was created, Jason has been a lifelong learner of music. Beginning at 8 years old, Jason learned from his father, Joseph Roseman--who performed and built steelpan--and later earned a BA from Rhode Island College in music. Come hear these wonderful instruments and learn how Jason builds them.
