Join award-winning artist Raksha Soni for a Madhubani art workshop focused on making a Deeya.

Madhubani art is vibrant and intricate form of painting characterized by its bold colors, detailed patterns, and rich symbolism. It is an ancient style of hand painting that survived through the generations. It originated from the Mithila region of Bihar, India. The themes and elements are inspired by festivals, rituals, nature, households, communities and mythology in Indian culture. In Madhubani paintings, the Deeya represents the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness, embodying hope and positivity.

Registration is required.
