Come join LHS student Aarnav Tuesdays in July at Cary Memorial Library for a fun 4-week chess program for middle school and high school students! Whether you’re completely new to chess or already know how to play, this program is a great way to learn new skills, challenge yourself, and have fun with other students who enjoy the game.

Each week, students will learn through interactive lessons, puzzles, guided games, and friendly competition. We’ll cover the basics of chess, important tactics and strategies, and ways to think ahead and make stronger moves. The program will end with a mini-tournament where students can put their skills to the test and compete for prizes.

This program is part of Cary Teens Lead the Way -- a Cary Library Program developed to showcase the talents and interests of Lexington teens.
