Some of the art from the 19th century onward has disrupted, challenged, and changed what artists do, the definition of art, and its relation to society. Join Susie Hodge in learning about pieces of art that influenced these changes, from artists who defied Victorian cultural rules and scandalizing abstract paintings, to works of protest and conceptual twists, experience the scope of the modern art world.

Susie Hodge MA FRSA is a UK author who has written over 100 books on art, art history, history and artistic techniques. Susie's other activities include lectures, talks and practical workshops, plus television and radio talks and documentaries about art.
