We are excited to welcome author Satya Doyle Byock for a conversation about her new book, “Quarterlife: The Search for Self in Early Adulthood.” Join us for a discussion about finding purpose and happiness in your twenties and beyond.
Satya Doyle Byock is the author of “Quarterlife: The Search for Self in Early Adulthood,” published by Random House, July 2022. Her work has been featured on NPR’s LifeKit, Morning Edition, and Weekend Edition, The New York Times, Oprah Daily, The New York Post, Literary Hub, and many podcasts including Goop, Pulling the Thread, and The Joseph Campbell Foundation Podcast, The Podcast with a Thousand Faces.
Satya is a practicing psychotherapist in Portland, Oregon, and the director of The Salome Institute of Jungian Studies, where she teaches online. Other writing of hers has been published in Psychological Perspectives, The Utne Reader, goop, and noted in The Best American Essays. She is also the co-host of the (now completed) podcast on Carl Jung’s Red Book, and writes for her Substack, “The Quarterlifer.”
Satya’s clinical work, teaching, and writing draw influences from a few primary areas, including Jungian psychology, trauma research, and social justice advocacy.
