Virtual: Kids Cooking Green presents Broccoli Mac & Cheese (Grades K -2)

Come learn how to make this delicious version of mac and cheese!  We'll provide all the ingredients you need to cook, you'll need to provide the following supplies from your kitchen:

  • Big pot -slotted spoon or tongs to remove Brocc from pot but keep the hot water.
  • Strainer- to drain pasta
  • Small pot to warm milk, or a micro-proof bowl to warm the milk.
  • Whisk
  • Long handled wooden spoon to stir
  • Grater, if needed for cheese
  • Bowl to eat, fork to eat!

An adult caregiver must be present to supervise. Ingredient supply packages will be available for pick up from Kids Cooking Green on February 21 from 8 am - 5 pm or by other arrangement with Kids Cooking Green. Any kits not picked up by 5 pm will forfeit their space in the class.  *IF REGISTERING AFTER 5 PM on 2/21 - please contact the Library to arrange your kit pick up*

Registration required. In order to allow the most kids to participate, please only register once for your family to receive 1 supply kit and have all chefs in your household cook together. A few days after registration, you'll receive an email with detailed instructions on how to pick up your ingredient supply kit.

If your child becomes unable to attend this program, please notify the library as soon as possible. Repeated 'no-shows' without notification may prohibit your child from registering for future programs.
