Virtual: Kids Cooking Green presents Make and Bake a Tiny Apple Pie (Grades K - 2 with an adult)

Tuesday, November 82:30—3:30 PMVirtual

Have you read the book called Tiny Pie by Mark Baily and Michael Oatman? It is a great story and has a recipe by a famous chef, Alice Waters, to make Tiny Pies. Join us to bake a Tiny Apple Pie and learn the story of Ellie the elephant and a little chef mouse.

We'll provide all the ingredients you need, you'll need to provide the following items from your kitchen:

  • A small, medium and large bowl
  • wooden spoon
  • Pastry brush or fork
  • Rolling pin
  • baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Knife
  • plastic wrap
  • measuring cups and spoons.

An adult caregiver must be present to supervise. Ingredient supply packages will be available for pick up from Kids Cooking Green on Monday, November 7th from 8 am - 5 pm, or by other arrangement with Kids Cooking Green. Any kits not picked up by 5 pm will forfeit their space in the class.

Registration required. In order to allow the most kids to participate, please only register once for your family to receive 1 supply kit and have all chefs in your household cook together. A few days after registration, you'll receive an email with detailed instructions on how to pick up your ingredient supply kit.

If your child becomes unable to attend this program, please notify the library as soon as possible. Repeated 'no-shows' without notification may prohibit your child from registering for future programs
