Virtual: Kids Cooking Green presents Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches (Grades 3 - 5)

Join our friends from Kids Cooking Green and learn how to make this yummy meal!

We'll provide all the ingredients you need, you'll need to provide the following supplies from your kitchen:

  • Cutting board & knife
  • measuring cup and spoons
  • microplane or zester (or dice by hand)
  • Whisk or fork or blender or kitchen aid
  • Scissors to help open up the tomato in cardboard boxes
  • Spatula 
  • Saute or fry pan that is 10 inch wide  (If smaller you will just need to toast one piece first, then the other)
  • Bowl and spoon to eat!

An adult caregiver must be present to supervise. Ingredient supply packages will be available for pick up from Kids Cooking Green on Wednesday January 25, or by other arrangement with Kids Cooking Green. Any kits not picked up by 5 pm will forfeit their space in the class.  DUE TO THE WEATHER FORECAST- PICK UP HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO THURSDAY JANUARY 26

Registration required. In order to allow the most kids to participate, please only register once for your family to receive 1 supply kit and have all chefs in your household cook together. A few days after registration, you'll receive an email with detailed instructions on how to pick up your ingredient supply kit.

If your child becomes unable to attend this program, please notify the library as soon as possible. Repeated 'no-shows' without notification may prohibit your child from registering for future programs
