VIRTUAL - Working with Your Landscaper to Enhance Sustainability on Your Property with Marie Chieppo
Tuesday, March 107:00—8:15 PMVirtual

In today’s world, the importance of sustainable landscape practices has never been more critical. This talk focuses on empowering homeowners to practice and obtain eco-friendly services from their landscapers. We will begin with a brief overview of what eco-friendly landscaping entails, including the use of native plants and water conservation techniques. Such foundational knowledge will help homeowners articulate their desires and expectations clearly to their landscapers, and advice on how best to communicate those expectations effectively will be offered.
As more consumers demand sustainable maintenance practices, landscapers will hopefully be prompted to provide them. Through an audit program Marie devised to help homeowners and landscapers collaborate, she will discuss realistic value-added services that meet customers’ needs. Case studies will provide examples of successful eco-friendly landscaping projects.
Registration is required.
