Intro to Watercolor Painting (Adult Workshop)

In this 90 minute session students will create a Spring-like landscape in watercolor. Come explore a variety of methods for adding texture. Learn about ratios of water to pigment for creating atmosphere and depth. All materials are supplied thanks to a generous donation from LexArt.

Susan McFarlane is originally from Massachusetts but for thirty years she lived in Utah, Oregon, New Jersey, and Virginia before moving to Reading, MA. Susan earned a B.S. in Design from Brigham Young University, a Post Baccalaureate Certificate from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and a Museum Studies Master’s Degree from Harvard Extension. In addition, she is a Certified Zentagle® Teacher. Her artwork has been shown in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia.
